Sift 8oz self raising flour with a tsp baking powder. Rub in 2oz vegan fat (I use Pure) until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add 1/4 pint of almond or soy milk and stir with a knife until the dough comes together. Pat out (I don’t bother rolling) on a floured surface to an inch thick. Cut into circles and place on a greased tray. Brush a little milk on the top.
Bake for 15 mins at 180 or until golden.
